Por encargo de la EMVS (Empresa Municipal de la Vivienda y Suelo de Madrid) realizamos, junto a la abogado urbanista Pepa Torres, este estudio de propuestas urbanísticas para las manzanas M14 y M19 del barrio de Tetuán en Madrid. Se trata de sustituir las viviendas obsoletas existentes por conjuntos de mayor densidad pero liberando parte del suelo para disponer plazas y espacios públicos con edificios dotacionales.

En la propuesta pretendemos conservar la escala existente estudiándose tipos de vivienda corredor o soluciones en H con patios interiores y generar espacios colectivos y de relación.

Commissioned by the EMVS (Madrid Municipal Housing and Land Company), we carried out this study of urban planning proposals for blocks M14 and M19 in the Tetuán neighbourhood of Madrid, together with urban planning lawyer Pepa Torres. The project aims to replace the existing obsolete housing with higher-density residential complexes while freeing up part of the land to create plazas and public spaces with community buildings.

Our proposal seeks to maintain the existing scale by exploring corridor housing types or H-shaped solutions with interior courtyards, fostering collective and social spaces
