Book  "12 construction topics"

 

En 2018 decido escribir y editar un libro cuyo propósito principal es de tipo docente, directamente relacionado con la asignatura troncal  de Construcción 3, que imparto y coordino en la ETSAM. El libro contiene doce temas, como su título indica y está editado en español e inglés. Tiene formato apaisado en A5, con 637 páginas, muchas imágenes en color y textos reducidos y sintéticos. El libro se vende en librerías especializadas, como MAIREA o NAOS en Madrid, además de en AMAZON.

En estos años imparto la asignatura en inglés, con gran número de alumnos en programas de intercambio, y este libro se convierte en un importante instrumento docente, de forma que más que explicar los temas teóricos que incluye el programa, estos se discuten en clase después de haber sido previamente estudiados o consultados  en dicho libro.

In 2018, I decided to write and edit a book with a primarily educational purpose, directly related to the core subject of Construction 3, which I teach and coordinate at ETSAM. As its title suggests, the book contains twelve topics and is published in Spanish and English. It has a landscape A5 format, with 637 pages, many color images, and concise, synthetic texts. The book is available in specialized bookstores such as MAIREA and NAOS in Madrid, as well as on AMAZON.

In recent years, I have been teaching the subject in English, with a large number of students from exchange programs, and this book has become an essential teaching tool. Rather than explaining the theoretical topics covered in the syllabus, these are discussed in class after students have previously studied or consulted the book
